Deciding where AI belongs

How we mapped our own marketing, scored every step, and built a bespoke platform in days, not quarters. A 22 page case study on our own operations, with the full decision table and the screenshots to prove it.

The method, demonstrated on the makers

Every regulated firm now has an AI mandate. Very few have a method for deciding where the AI should actually go. Before asking any client to trust ours, we ran it on ourselves: we mapped PinpointProof's own marketing processes, scored every step for judgement, repeatability and impact, decided deliberately what to automate, what to AI-assist under approval and what to keep human, and built exactly that as a working platform.

The case study shows the whole journey with real screenshots: the process map, the scored nodes, the approved design mockups next to the shipped screens, the guardrail engine refusing an invented statistic, and the real numbers.

  • 24process decisions in the full register: automate, AI-assist, or keep human on purpose, each with its recorded reason
  • 7 daysfrom first approved design mockup to a running 28 feature platform
  • 40 to 4hours per week: a full-time marketing workload now runs in around 4 founder hours
  • £125per month running cost, against roughly £3,000 for a comparable SaaS marketing suite

Who it is for

Operations, change and technology leaders at investment managers, fund administrators and insurers who are being asked what they are doing about AI, and who want an evidenced answer that stands up to scrutiny, rather than a vendor's opinion. Swap the word marketing for onboarding, fund launches or breach reporting: the method is the same.

FAQ

Before you download.

Is this a sales document?

It is a case study of our own operations, written the way we would write one for a client: method first, screenshots as evidence, and a numbers table that states plainly what is deliberately unclaimed. There is one call to action at the end.

What happens with my details?

Your name, email and firm are stored in our own systems with the consent you give recorded against them. We may send occasional relevant updates and will honour an unsubscribe immediately. Nothing is shared or sold. The full position is on the privacy and cookies page.

Does the method only work for marketing?

Marketing was simply the process we could publish openly, because it is our own. The mapping, scoring and decision method applies to any regulated operational process: client onboarding, fund launches, breach reporting, client reporting, board MI.
