AI and operational change for financial services
AI is a big opportunity. We'll help you see your whole operation clearly, and put AI where it really pays off.
Our team has spent years leading enterprise transformation inside financial institutions. We'll map how your work really runs, help you choose where AI, automation or Lean will make the biggest difference, and test each idea properly before you invest.

Animation: PinpointProof maps the firm's architecture in six layers (people, functions, applications, data, messaging and systems), traces a client onboarding process through them in five steps, scores each step for AI and automation potential, ranks them, and identifies Verify KYC documents as the number one candidate with a benefit case, a designed test and an audit trail.

Where most firms are today
You've made a start with AI. Now let's join it all up.
Most firms have started experimenting with AI, and that's a great first step. But when pilots run in isolation, it's hard to see the bigger picture or know what's really working. That's where we come in.
The whole picture
We map your processes end to end, so you and your programme sponsors can see every step, handoff and system in one place.
The right fix for each process
Some processes are ready for AI. Others simply need streamlining. We'll help you tell them apart, so every pound goes where it counts.
Confidence before you scale
Each promising idea gets a small, well-designed experiment, so you know what works before the bigger investment.
How we help
We've done this before, and we'll do it with you.
Our team has led large transformation programmes in leading banks and investment firms. We bring those lessons, and a calm, proven approach, to your AI journey.
- 1
See the whole operation
Together with the people who do the work, we map each process as it really runs today: the steps, systems, handoffs and controls. Your COO or programme sponsor gets one clear, end-to-end view.
- 2
Choose the right fix
Sometimes the smartest move isn't automation at all. Applying Lean to a process can unlock real savings before any technology is involved. We'll show you which processes need which.
- 3
Test it properly
For the strongest AI and automation candidates, we design small experiments using the proven methods from The Lean Pivot, with success agreed up front. Ideas that work move forward with confidence.
- 4
Build what works
We can build the solution for you, or work alongside your own technology team. Either way, controls and human approval points are designed in from the start.
- 5
Run it from your control tower
Everything you build sits inside PinpointProof, so your map stays live as your operation changes, people and AI together.
A closer look
Here's what the work looks like in practice.
We map the work as it really happens.
Short, friendly sessions with the people who do the work capture the activities, systems, handoffs, controls and volumes. Someone on your team then checks and signs off every map.
About ninety minutes from each contributor.

We score every step, with the evidence attached.
Six weighted factors, adjusted for regulatory sensitivity and readiness for change. Open any score to see exactly why it landed where it did.
Have a go: move any factor and the score updates. Our weights are published in full.

Each candidate gets the smallest test that can confirm its benefit, with the success threshold agreed before it starts. Learning quickly that an idea needs more work is a good result too.

We scale what works, with controls built in.
Ideas that pass move into delivery with their controls, human approval points and audit trail already defined, and we track the benefit against the original baseline.

The PinpointProof platform
Your control tower for the AI-era workforce.
As AI agents join your teams, it helps to have one place that shows how work really gets done, by people and by technology. PinpointProof keeps that picture live, and answers the questions every operations leader is starting to ask.
- What processes exist, and which of them are regulated?
- Who, or what, performs each step?
- Under which controls, and with which human approval points?
- Producing what evidence, at what cost and performance?
- Changed by whom, approved by whom, and when?
- And how quickly can all of that be shared with someone who asks?
The same view supports your AI inventory, operational resilience mapping, DORA registers and senior manager accountability.
And because every solution you build sits inside PinpointProof, your operating model stays current as it changes, people and AI together.
A welcome bonus
The map you build for AI also supports your resilience work.
Every map carries its owners, controls and obligations, so the same effort helps with UK operational resilience and DORA mapping too.
Owners and controls, captured once
Every step carries its named owner, control pattern and human approval points, ready to use for both purposes.
Scores you can trace
Open any score to see the evidence behind it. When the evidence changes, the score updates with it.
Always up to date
Re-run the assessment after each change, so your map stays the working record of how your firm operates.
Working alongside what you have
We'll complement the tools and advisers you already trust.

When another route might suit you better
- Firms under 100 staff often get more from a lighter-touch review, and we're happy to point you to one.
- If a process mining rollout is already under way, finishing it first usually makes sense.
- If you need a single diagram for an audit, a documentation service will be more economical.
Our team brings thirty years of experience across fund operations, regulatory technology and enterprise transformation. We'll work right alongside you, using a published method you can look through before you commit.
We even ran the method on our own operations first, and shared what we found.

Questions we're often asked.
What's available today, and what's coming next?
We build, or we build with you
We can design, build and test solutions for you, or support your technology team as they deliver them through your own change control. Regulated processes always stay with your accountable owner.
Evidence for your governance
Everything we produce feeds into your own governance. Regulatory outcomes, filings and attestations stay with your firm.
What is an AI opportunity assessment?
It's a structured look at your processes that shows which steps could be handled by AI or automation, which would benefit more from Lean, and which are best left as they are. Each recommendation is ranked by value and feasibility, with the evidence attached. You come away with a validated map of how the work is done, a score for every step, a measured baseline and a designed test for each candidate.
How long does it take, and what does it cost?
Four weeks for one business area, covering ten to fifteen processes, at a fixed fee with the scope agreed together at kick-off. If you'd like to try the approach first, we also offer a single-process pilot.
How much of my team's time does it need?
Around twenty-six person-hours in total: ninety minutes from each person who does the work, a few hours from your operations lead, and ninety minutes from risk and compliance at the challenge session. We'll agree the timetable up front so everyone can plan around it.
Do you need access to our systems?
There's no need. A read-only walkthrough or a screen-share is plenty, with no integration or data extraction, and no investor or client personal data.
Will you build the solutions for us?
We can. We'll build the solution for you, or work alongside your own technology team as they build it through your own change control. Either way, each solution sits within PinpointProof so your map stays current, and regulated processes stay with your accountable owner.
Who will we work with?
A small, experienced team led by our founder, Gerry Murtagh. PinpointProof is a young firm, so you'll have senior people on every engagement, and you can look through our published method and scoring framework before you commit.
Let's find where AI will make the biggest difference for you.
